GARDENS have used the summer break to work on new songs. Following their debut album “Flaws” in November 2024 and the subsequent spring concert tour across Europe, GARDENS present a powerful piece of indie pop on September 12, 2025. Songwriter Luca Celine uses her keen songwriting instincts to subtly recount the everyday challenges faced by women in a patriarchal system. “BIG DREAMS” is aimed at all cynics who don't believe in the great potential of dreams and nip hope in the bud.
“It's about the experience of being a woman in a society where you have to be afraid to walk home alone in the dark. You are constantly told that you can't, shouldn't, or mustn't do certain things. This leads to self-doubt. The song is meant to be a call to fight against this and break down these structures.”
The song captivates with its uncanny clarity, warmth, and self-confidence. It was recorded and produced by the band itself, consisting of Luca Celine, Peter Mathis, Laura Keiblinger, and Patrick Scholda (formerly Stieger). Four shows in Germany are now on the agenda for September before GARDENS focuses on the production of their sophomore album.
