Please meet the new project ECKSTEIN

There's a new exciting music duo in town. ECKSTEIN present their very first song ‘Einbruch’. The two got together last winter to make a soundtrack for a fictional western film in the studio, loaded with some canned beer. However, the result was a completely different set of songs that lean more towards post-punk or NNDW - in any case with the necessary punch.

Dive into the country world with POTATO BEACH

Ken Burns' 8-part documentary series on country music has immersed many in my indie bubble in the quirky world of country. No wonder, apart from the many incredible stories, it is above all the countless songs that make up this special fascination. For Potato Beach mastermind Jannik Rieß, the podcast ‘Cocaine and Rhinestones’ was the gateway drug. The song ‘That's How I Got To Memphis’ was particularly persistent, which he quickly recreated in his own style in the studio one afternoon. According to music journalist Robert Rotifer, this is probably currently the best version of the immortal classic, which has been reinterpreted by so many, including Karl Blau. But listen for yourself!
